Eastern Railroad Discussion > Maybe Foreign Isn't So Foreign Anymore???Date: 01/19/17 02:39 Maybe Foreign Isn't So Foreign Anymore??? Author: NSSpike A Few From The NS East End “FPF”
It seams anymore just about all lines could be considered as a “Foreign Power Funnel” to the NS.One thing for sure the NS Alabama Div.East End mainline, Birmingham To Atlanta continues to live up to the name with the steady flow of UP west coast stack trains and KCS stacks from Dallas TX. Even the Georgia Division “C-Line” has seen fit to provide a few eastern coal drags with foreign power leaders. #1. NS 220 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) rolls east bound through downtown Temple Georgia with a solid IM train that will terminate at Inman Yard in Atlanta Ga. NS 226 (LOS ANGELES, CA (UP ZLCAI) - ATLANTA, GA) rolls east bound through downtown Temple Georgia with a trio of SD70ACE/AH units. Part of this trains loads are destined for NS Whitaker Yard in Austell with the remaining cars going to Inman Yard in Atlanta Ga.

NS 708 (EASTERN COAL – GP WANSLEY) on it's return trip north after dumping 108 loads runs under the Croft Street bridge in Carrollton Ga. A CP leader with NS & UP head end power. The second photo about 15 miles north at CP South Bremen.
