As to the original poster, here is what I believe happens with the PNFF (Port Clinton Fast Freight). They run lite power from Port Clinton to North Reading Yard to pick up any freight for the Lehigh Line operations and possibly also the Tamaqua freight. They will then head north to Jim Thorpe to drop off the freight (stopping at Tamaqua if they have any freight for there) and pick up any outbounds from the Lehigh Line side of things. After that it's back south where they probably deposit their train at the south end of Port Clinton. I also do not know the days or times of operations except that they are very regular. I am sure someone else can fill in the missing info. I hope this provides some help. Posted from iPhone Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/27/17 07:20 by offthebeatentrack. Respect: I thought the same thing when I read the original post. I'm only talking his language. Breathe a little. |
