Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX Atlanta downgradeDate: 03/22/17 17:22 CSX Atlanta downgrade Author: MEKoch I am hearing that the CSX Atlanta hump will be closed. Several trains will be discontinued or combined. Other remaining trains will set off and pick up in Atlanta. EHH wants at least 1500 cars per day on any hump yard. Apparently hump yards are expensive to operate. I would expect Waycross, Nashville and Hamlet to pick up some of the yard work. Engine facility downgraded as well.

All the jobs helped each other to move the cars.

And another $250 for a month without a charge back. Money well spent. Guess what happened when our new owner scrapped this? Posted from Android |
