Eastern Railroad Discussion > Coal Drags Across Northwest GeorgiaDate: 03/23/17 06:52 Coal Drags Across Northwest Georgia Author: NSSpike To this day Coal Drags are tops on my list. So here a few of late west Georgia visitors.
#1 NS 708 (Eastern Coal – GP Plant Wansley) with the NS 1171 SD70ACe leading this south bound loaded coal drag on the NS Georgia Division C-Line at North Bremen over the NS Alabama East End controlled diamond. #2 NS 708 (GP Plant Wansley – Eastern MT Coal) with UP 8631 SD70ACe leading this empty coal drag north bound over the diamond in downtown Bremen Georgia. NOTE: Train ID will change to 709 when re-crewed at the Cedartown depot. #3 NS 708 rolls past the NS 555703 shoving platform in Bremen Georgia. #5 NS 737 (GP JULIETTE GEORGIA - PRB WYOMING) empty 7,800ft running west bound on the Alabama Division East End District by CP Taylor. #6 NS 220 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) 7,100ft stack heading east through downtown Temple as the NS 737 holds the siding.
