Incoming Data:  Rhett will be with the Red Unit Circus Train (RUCT) from Norfolk VA to Hampton VA.
 
At this Post Time, as it now stands:  RUCT to have Heritage Unit Power for lead Engine - NS 1065  Savannah and Atlanta RR along with NS 1168 (Std. Widecab SD 70ACe) lashed in Elephant Style - to be confirmed out of Norfolk VA.  An early departure is anticipated by the RR Crew and Circus Personnel for a 03:00 AM EDT (03/27/ 2017) time of departure out of Norfolk VA for the run to Hampton VA if all goes together as planned.

05:37 AM EDT - Lambert’s Point, Norfolk Southern Yard Facility – And now it begins, RUCT consist being assembled.

Edited for Reference to an earlier Post from Rhett – Red Unit Circus Train is spotted up WAY back inside the yard's old "RIP TRACKS" next door to the turntable where the round house used to be, past the current diesel refueling pads.  It's not visible from any public spot.

In concert with the above Post, if one goes to Google Maps and zooms in on Lambert’s Point via Satellite Image - the Circus Train is there and can be seen in several sections.
The images of the cars appear to be that of the Blue Unit Globe from a previous years visit to Norfolk VA.

Looking forward to a 07:00 – 07:30 AM EDT estimated time for departure out of Norfolk VA.

Thank you for the update. Hoping to catch them. Drove down from Maine Saturday just for these 2 runs. Stayed in Burkeville hoping to get both but looks like BUTC is going later than we expected. On the run to catch this one departed Burkeville at 7:30 for Petersburg after reading your update. Thanks so much it makes a difference.

Added Data:  "BX Connection Track", just north of Collier Yard, to Richmond VA, then east from Fulton Yard to Hampton, via Williamsburg and Lee Hall, Va.
