Hello Eastern Board - I'm in North Carolina this weekend visiting Elon and the U of Wake Forest. Was hoping to fill my extra time watching the NS H-line in Elon and any action around Winston-Salem. How frequent is the traffic? And what time of day is busiest? Any other info is much appreciated. Thank you

On the H-line, there are 3 pairs of passenger trains and 2 pairs of freights.  

Winston-Salem: 2 pairs on K line from Greensboro.  One pair of Yadkin Valley trains from North Winston to Rural Hall on the K-line.  One pair of autoracks comes down the R-line to Walkertown just north of Winston-Salem.  The R line also sees grain into North Winston.  There is one pair of freights to Hamlet on the Winston-Salem Southbound.  Grain also goes down the WSSB.
