I see what looks like a new track being installed on the web cam. Will this new track be a new lead to the yard. Inbound or out bound or both?

This new track is the track for the new passenger station. Track will hold 8 pas cars and 1 engine. It will tie in to the left of the picture. Not known if it will tie in to main under the bridge in the picture. Back hoes etc are drilling foundations for the high level platform. Station is to be just this side of the parking garage in the picture.

A maintenance base is to be constructed on the Charoltte line about 1/2 mile south of the wye off of the single track.

Storage/cleaning facility is already built on the Charlotte line. No expense was spared. It's fully fenced, illuminated by floodlights, has an office/crew building and the track is in.

Yes, the servicing facility is finished, on the Winston-Salem line.

The new passenger platform track will be open at both ends.

I do not think it is built yet . The fence is in really bad shape . They do not have the Storage Buildings built yet .

Yes, the maintenance facility is finished. On the Winston-Salem line. At a different location the new loading track and platform is under construction.
