Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX Q046-22 at Mango, FL with sticking brakes.Date: 05/22/17 17:31 CSX Q046-22 at Mango, FL with sticking brakes. Author: SP_cadillacs Caught Northbound CSX Q046-22 (Tampa, FL to Jacksonville Moncrief, FL COFC/TOFC/Tropicana) at Mango, FL. I first caught her coming to an easy stop at the Shell petrol station at Falkenberg Road to pick up her conductor. Her conductor showed up just after I finished taking a few pictures of the rare CW40-8 in Yellow Nose 2 paint. After hearing a huge majority of CSX CW40-8 units going into storage after the arrival of EHH, I was glad to see one, in Yellow Nose 2 paint, and in high priority COFC/TOFC/Tropicana service. I headed to a spot along the curve at Mango Siding, and as the last three-pack COFC car went by, I noticed smoke coming from all three trucks. I immediately called CSX emergency and told them about the railcar. She stopped at Gallagher Road crossing in Seffner so the conductor can inspect the three pack.
