Eastern Railroad Discussion > Providence & Worcester turns orangeDate: 05/24/17 06:28 Providence & Worcester turns orange Author: cslemp I came across freshly painted P&W GE B39-8E # 3908 in Palmer, MA yesterday idling away the afternoon next to the NECR yard office with EMD GP38 #2011. I neither love nor hate the G&W orange and black, but it's nice to see spartan cab GE's with fresh paint.

I was so glad that Old BNSF paintjob went away, also 4007 is the last B39-8 produced as I understand and I also heard G&W (AZER) has a 4007 also a B39-8 but someone needs to confirm that please !
