Eastern Railroad Discussion > Why do some of the CSX SD70MAC units not have lightning bolts?

Good Morning Everybody. I was wondering why some of the SD70MAC locomotives CSX owns don't have the lighting bolt below the numbers. Did CSX forget or did they not want to add the Lighting bolt? The lighting bolt I am referring to would be the ones under the AC4400CW locomotives , Other SD70MAC locomotives, and ES44AC/ET44AC locomotives.

The Southern Baptist Convention sent CSX a cease-and-desist letter informing the railroad that God has a trademark on lightning bolts, and therefore the railroad's use of them violated His intellectual-property rights.

Probably repaints and/or they just didn't bother with them.

A handful of the ES44ACs don't have them, either...
