A New York Central 4-8-2 at the end of a proud career, now hauling junk freight in Ohio. Blasting through a junction at full speed, whistle screaming. No intention of going peacefully to the boneyard. The (Conrail) SD80MAC units had a fine career. Edited: Thanks for the catch on the 4-8-2, don't know what I was thinking. I'm guessing when NS does their rebuilds, the 80MAC will have a new number on it Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/18/17 13:20 by Lackawanna484. (Sorry for the nitpicking.) Posted from Android Date: 06/18/17 15:56 Re: Unusual Leader for NS 290(17) Author: bath_wildcat Word I have heard is that there might be a rebuild program similar to the ACU program, however these will keep their numbers.
