Nice Day to Take the Train

Yesterday, desiring to get out and enjoy the weather, I drove to Lebanon, Ohio to catch the Lebanon, Mason & Monroe 10 am trip. Weather was beautiful and the train looked great.

Southbound GP-30 #901, painted in its original Nickel Plate colors had the lead, shown approaching US-42.

Northbound, the honors went to GP-7 #55. (Check out the flowers)

I really like how that house in the second photo adds interest and location.
