200 Mile Chase...The NS OCS
Author: Ohiorailfan

Sometimes I am a little crazy when it comes to chasing trains. I usually don't chase for very long and usually not high speed trains. Yesterday NS ran a 950 out of Bellevue, Ohio heading to Portsmouth. The train consisted of all 4 Executive F Units and 12 cars. It was a hot train due to that fact all the officials were on board. The train was heading towards Roanoke and would layover in Bluefield, WV that night. A typical run from Bellevue to Portsmouth is 5.5 hours, this train made it in under 4 hours. I was able to get it 6 times within 250 miles. Enjoy!

1 and 2: Just south of Attica, Ohio

3: Delaware, Ohio

NS 24 "Deleware" is former Conrail 55/VRRC 552/WRSX 552/Autotrain 514/ATSF 552.
