Mohawk, Adirondack & Northern's Utica-Lyons Falls, NY branch is 45 miles long and was once part of New York Central's St. Lawrence Division.

The railroad has no customers until Boonville, 35 miles north of Utica, where it serves a lumber company and a feed mill. The 10 miles between Boonville-Lyons Falls are presently being used for storage of empty propane tankers.

I've long thought that the secluded Sugar River bridge, located 38 miles north of Utica, would make an excellent subject for a drone video.

Here's my effort from this morning.

Happy 4th of July all!

Yes, they didn't place any on the bridge.
