A Couple Of Heritage Units And More On The East End
Author: NSSpike

A series of photos taken over the past couple of weeks in and around Temple & Austell Georgia.

#1 NS 8105 Interstate Heritage unit leading NS 173 (LINWOOD, NC – SHEFFIELD, ALA) holds the siding in Temple Georgia as east bound NS 154 (BIRMINGHAM, AL - LINWOOD, NC) rolls through town.

#2 NS 154 DPU's mid train roll past the #8105.

#3 After NS 154 clears CP Temple, NS 173 heads west bound out of the siding.

A few from a couple of trips to Austell over the past two weeks

#4 Inman to Whitaker Yard transfer G90 heads north out of Austell on the run around track as NS 994 can be seen rounding the curve north bound at the north Austell CP.

#5 NS 994 north bound power move to Chattanooga on the main line at the Austell Box Board plant.

#6 NS 322 (MACON, GA – CHATTANOOGA, TN) with a nice UP leader at 14,500 tons and 166 cars.

Nice work. I have not seen the Interstate HU unit for awhile. Two HU's in one day, cool.
