I was watching the westward webcam at Rileys Roadhouse yesterday and noticed that the grade crossing has been removed. Is it a permanent thing?

Anyone who's been to the Nickel Plate mainline west of Buffalo recently will have seen a lot of the same thing... Between the road closures from that and a closure on US 20 between Westfield and Ripley (NY), it was somewhat challenging to get around...

I've doing a lot of traveling across Route 6 in OH and Indiana between Napoleon and Waterloo and have noticed a lot of trackwork going on headed west from Edgerton. I understand that they've made it to the LaPorte area.
