CSX doesn't have a 5991 that I know of. Believe the 5900's were B40-8's but the number series didn't go that high.

You are correct. There is no CSXT5991 and, to my recollection, never has been.

Dont believe the ex UPs were ever assigned CSX numbers or put into service? Or if the deal to buy them from UP actually happened.

NO, there NEVER was any such deal. That was BS posted to various internet sites buy a guy known for posting such trolling garbage.

The CSXT B40-8's were numbered 5930-5979 and all have been retired.
