Just a few of the many horns at the HORSESHOE CURVE collector's horn meet.

Was up in the hills surrounding the curve around the time that shot was taken, honestly really surprising just how dead the Pittsburgh line was on that day, at least the horns echoing through the valley partially made up for the dearth of traffic.

Great entertainment Ed. Music to my ears. I wonder if any NS crews up on "the hill" wondered what was going on.
I noticed in one of your earlier posts that there was a tripod set up by the highway sign on the traffic island. Was that for DOT or part of the horn group set up?

Excellent and fun video! For those of us who arre uninitiated to the details of horns, any chance of a list of types to accompany the video? Always read references to name, but would we great to read and hear in order to lock in in the noggin. Always enjoy your posts!

Awesome video. I like that last doppler effect of that M5.

The tripod was an audio set up by one of the group.

Perhaps Ed will turn this into a video in which he will identify each type of horn an it's owner.

Too bad we can't do this with locomotives anymore like at Oakridge.

Great of Ed to of arranged the event at Horseshoe!
