Railfest was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. These bring back great memories. Bob Date: 09/15/17 17:38 Re: Some more from the Ohio Central 2004 Author: Notch76 Glad you enjoyed them it was a great event that won't be seen again
Posted from iPhone Date: 09/15/17 20:53 Re: Some more from the Ohio Central 2004 Author: BrutusII Fantastic photos and memory-makers! I was right nearby when these photos were taken! The boys on the folding chairs were the Flagler #75 crew from Michigan. I remember the crane operator taking a lonnng time to get that tender loaded with coal.
I asked Tim Sposato if they were going to do another steamvention again soon and he said they were planning on another for 2006. Ohhh well.....thankful that a few thousand of us were there to enjoy this one in 2004. Memories....wow ! I also thank all those who attended responsibly making it successful. I have no connection with the group who have turned several PRR cars into a museum at Dennison, Ohio but if you're near there be sure to visit. It is a literal "walk back in time." DaleR |
