Hurricane Trainwatching
Author: intermodalres

My brother and I had to make a fast trip to Florida to evacuate my mom from the path of Hurricane Irma. We went to our sister's place near Atlanta. With a few days on our hands we set out on Sunday morning to find some railroad tracks. With no prepared maps and no scanner (and just my phone camera) we managed to catch one CSX south bound train in Acworth, GA. The storm went further west so mom's place had minimal damage. We were able to get her home and we are now back in our respective homes. Hopefully, Maria turns out into the Atlantic.
