The reason I ask is I heard this train on the CL&W sub get onto the New Castle sub at Sterling Ohio,this was around 8:20pm.

Obviously if the mills in Lorain were working it could be daily. On rare occasions they make a trip south to Sterling for a pickup or set off. If you saw them in Sterling it was rare at this time but could change next week as CSX is very fluid.
