NS - 5248 - GP-38-2 - with - Brand New BNSF White Auto Rack.

Sunday Morning Sept. 24, 2017 - NS 5248 - GP-38-2
switching Fostoria, Ohio Automotive Distribution Center
( Norfolk Southern Auto Mixing Center ) with brand new BNSF 301318 Auto Rack.

Looks like BNSF has gone to White from Orange.
Built in Mexico by, Gunderson Concarril - 08-2017

They were painting new autoracks orange. I wonder why a switch was made.

Someone thought white would keep the inside cooler,
reflecting the heat. Just their thought.

Could it be this was originally built for CP, but maybe they (CP) canceled their order and BNSF decided to pick it up instead?

You may be right. A few months ago remembering seeing
new CP white auto racks, but never was able to photograph them.
