A Day With The Lhoist B23-7's
Author: Ohiorailfan

Spent the better part of yesterday chasing the Lhoist North America's Rockwood turn with B23-7 #4023 and #4138 from Crab Orchard, Tennessee to Rockwood and back. While near the plant the other B23-7 #4021 can be seen. Enjoy!

Great series hands down an IOTD in the mix there somewhere. Kudos to the short line for the super clean units.

Wow, #6 and #9 are awesome! How often do they run on this line?

Great photo series. Don't think I've seen a high hood GE before, are these ex-Southern units?

Very nice photos of this cool line and railroad!
Anyone have a roster of their operable engines? I can't find anything online.

I like their paint job. It's not flashy but it is clean and does make a statement. Good job.
