Author: WLE2679 Not sure if 100% true, but heard from a usually reliable source is that W&LE will not let run any historical equipment (steam) or any excursions at this time.

Author: halfmoonharold If it was MY historical equipment, I would rather trust NS track and signals over Wheeling dark territory anyway. Not picking on the Wheeling, just my opinion. Their RR is fine for a secondary freight line. If the rumor above is true, probably a smart move by them.

I don't know for sure, just asking. Date: 09/27/17 10:53 Re: NKP - 765 - Heading back Home ! Author: MEKoch Yes. There is a definite connection to that derailment. W&LE backed six empty passenger cars around a connecting track in Bellevue and the lighter weight passenger cars all derailed, between heavier freight cars, causing big damage.
