LEHL's Stanton Station (NJ)
Author: Pattenburg

Decided to venture out on this frigid and windy day up to Stanton Station and observed some changes. For those members of TO that are familiar with this location you might recall a red shipping container that was just east of the grade crossing that seemed to be there for a long time. That has since been removed. Another change was some type of tower (?) eventually being assembled west of the crossing. Had to wonder if this might be used for antennas? NS's H76 with NS 7281 and NS 9471 bringing two gondolas east around 11:03 AM past those tower components. Any information as to what those supports will be used for would be appreciated.

Maybe an antenna related to PTC?

The only signal is at MP 53 and that one is fairly new.

Did they completely remove the crossing at Stanton Station there?
