Identity crisis maybe?
Author: ns2557

Today, on my way west, went by the Kanawha River operation in the old NYC/PC/CR Yard at Dickinson WVa on the old West Virginia Secondary, now the KVRR. Dickinson WVa. At the west end/north end of the yard here was this CITX SD60, the 6011. Looking at it, it can't make up it's mind as to "who" it wants to be nowadays. The old SOO Paint shows as does the Indiana RR after that. This one has been aroumd for a few years. Over those years it has escaped my camera. Got that taken care of today here. There were 3 CITX SD60's here at Dickinson Yard, the CITX 6000 & 6001, both in blue, were also around as were a few NS SD60's. So here with out farther adeiu is the CITX SD60 6011 resplendent in all her older paints. Thanks for looking. Ben

Nice shot. They also have 3 SD40-3's in SD45 carbodies and a couple of GP 35's. The 6011 and the 6000 and 6001 are assigned to the freight working between Dickinson yard and the NS Watkins yard in Columbus. The SD 40-3'3 also work that pool. The NS SD 60's you saw are used for helper service for coal trains from Dickinson to the NS yard at Elmore,WV.
