Carfloating in the snow

1- NYNJ Rail 2293 with 2 reach cars waiting during a quick, but intense snow storm the other day.
2- 1st Eastbound float arrives.
3- By the time they turned the float and came back east a 2nd time, the snow finally let up.

- 2nd and finally westbound float for the day with the Joyce D. Brown. Unfortunately the sun never popped back out.
- Back to Greenville with empty concrete tie cars from LIRR, empty Malt cars, and 2 loads of glass cullet.

There was an interesting article in a recent Trains Magazine about this operation. Interesting how it came back from almost nothing to having Government Funding and new equipment.

Just in these photos, I count about 25-28 cars of business.  Encouraging!
