Eastern Railroad Discussion > Norfolk Southern Birmingham to Chattanooga QuestionsDate: 03/16/18 19:22 Norfolk Southern Birmingham to Chattanooga Questions Author: PRR_4859 Good Evening:
How many trains per day does NS run between Birmingham and Chattanooga, TN? Is the route cleared for doublestacks? Also, what are the maximum authorized speed and is it all CTC? When visiting the area a few times, it seemed like this line was not very busy. Thank you in advance.
