Blue Ridge Crossing....
Author: mp208

Norfolk Southern intermodal 211 (Jersey City to Atlanta) takes a respite from fast running as it wends its way across the B line in Northern Virginia. The line connects the ex N&W main in western Virginia to the ex Southern main in eastern Virginia to create a rather circuitous route from the south to New York and New England. Its 03.16.18 and Spring is but days away

Thanks for sharing. A neat locomotive consist straight out of the 1990's, and a right of way maintained only like NS seems to be able to. Very nice.

Interesting equipment use allocation. Is there a traffic imbalance in this corridor that results in all the containers that are on spine cars instead of doublestacked? A lot of empty slots too.
