To more precise, human biohazard. Seems the town has sued to stop the cars from being stored near the landfill before delivery, so the cars in transit got sent to another town to await the courts. From what I could tell.

No mention of the RR in this article, which I'm sure delighted the offending RR.

That guess, like all the common assumptions made by many anti-CSX railfans, would be incorrect. Those containers might travel on CSX going south but this landfill the subject cars are going to, and all this stinky mess, is on Norfolk Southern around Birmingham...

"The City of Birmingham will continue to communicate with Norfolk Southern to express concerns on how the rail cars have frustrated residents."

The latest town where NS sent the trains and cars to be stored - west Parrish AL - is a one railroad town, with a yard and crew office adorned with Thoroughbred logos... (You can use Google Earth to see that)
