Rootstown Ohio - Cloudy Evening, But Some Good Trains - 4/18/18

This evening after work, I decided to drive to Rootstown to see what trains I could get. I arrived trackside at 6:30PM and stayed till 8PM. In that time frame, I saw 3 eastbounds and 1 westbound. So total was 4. Not bad. Anyway, below are the trains I saw.

Train 1: 7 minutes after I arrive, at 6:37PM, comes NS eastbound loaded ethanol 6K4 lead by NS Dash 9 #9505 & CSX Tier 4 ET44AH #3466 trailing 2nd.

Train 2: 13 minutes after 6K4, at 6:50PM, comes fast late NS eastbound intermodal 20E lead by NS whiteface SD70M #2594, CN ES44AC #2630 trailing 2nd & NS Dash 9 #9204 trailing 3rd.

Train 3: 28 minutes after 20E, at 7:18PM, comes NS westbound intermodal 25Z lead by NS AC44C6M #4030, NS Dash 9 #9943 trailing 2nd & NS Dash 9 #9470 trailing 3rd.

Final Train 4: 22 minutes after 25Z, at 7:40PM, comes NS eastbound empty gypsum 61H lead by NS SD70M-2 #2720 & NS Dash 8 #8319 trailing 2nd.

Train four as seen through the gates is my favorite of these.

Both Bob's, thank you very much. Yea, that one with the gates is my favorite also. If it was better lighting, the others would have come out better.
