The Spirit of Ravenna Came to Howell Yard Today

CSX ET44AH 3440, The Spirit of Ravenna arrived in Howell Yard on Q648 this morning. It was set out to the House.

Other than the Spirit of Maryland, Spirit of West Virginia, Spirit of Waycross, Spirit of Cumberland and Spirit of Grafton units - all of which were officially dedicated to the hard working employees of those shops/terminals/locations - this has to rank high on the list of CSX dedications... and certainly better than a sticker logo.

Not much better then a sticker unit.

The CSX 3440 left this Sunday morning heading south as the second engine on a loaded coal train. The lead engine was CSX 7757.
