I bet it was a rush riding in that block truck passing the train at that speed.

Didn't the highrail trucks used to have to stop and give a roll by when a train is approaching them?

On Father's day we had a 13,800 footer in Wilsmere, which had to wait about 2 hours for an 11k ft q372 to set off before it could pass. this on a line where 9000ft trains should be the max and they do not fit everywhere. Today q409 was supposed to be 15,000 feet leaving Philly but they left over 4000 feet behind 'train too big'. All intermodal, traffic that used to be on q140/141. Now 409 takes it to Florence? To get on something else. At least a one day delay if not two for the business involved. Precision scheduled railroading at its best!
