Reading 1067 with CR on nose

Not sure when it happened but in addition to the peeling and burnt paint on the unit someone covered the nose emblem with" CR " like in the 70s and early 80s.

Send it back via Reading or Allentown or Abrams and somebody will fix that problem...

Wonder how many RDG guys still on the job?  Those were all CR places too!

Not so sure this has any truth to it, photo's of the unit in early July show it to be clearly wearing it's Reading Lines herald on the nose. As noted above, are there any verified photos of it supposedly "CR" patched?

Yes.   It just happened recently.   Friend saw it a few days ago.    Photos also in the thread below as mentioned.   Looks like it is probably just some duct tape or something.

I said right in the beginning the Conrail HU should be black with little white "CR"'s.

I looked at at the photo and saw nothing  of what you are all talking about.
