Author: calsubd My friend rides the Baldwin bike trail in the morning and tells me he hasn't seen any trains then, so I decided that I would try the early afternoon, here's a few
Q452 Northbound Consolidated Grain & Barge Q441 Southbound, bottom 3 engines set off in Baldwin, then continued on. 3 more pics to add Ed Stewart Jacksonville, FL Date: 07/19/18 23:28 Re: Darn the rain, Baldwin Fl. here I come ! Author: calsubd 3 cars that caught my attention on Q441
Old Port St Joe now a BKTY CMEX "The Mystery Machine" WRWK 261187, think G&W owns the WRWK reporting mark now, not sure though overheard was that the crew of Q441 would bring Q220 back North after changing crews here. T802 unit coal came South as I was getting ready to leave also. Not a bad rainy day after all ! Ed Stewart Jacksonville, FL Date: 07/20/18 10:05 Re: Darn the rain, Baldwin Fl. here I come ! Author: milepost180 Great catch on the Mystery Machine!

I liked it too, but really thought the Port St Joe unit was the winner IMHO Ed Stewart Jacksonville, FL Date: 07/20/18 20:04 Re: Darn the rain, Baldwin Fl. here I come ! Author: MC6853 I've noticed in recent years more fans on CSX are focusing on freight cars... Paints a pretty vivid picture on how dull the company's motive power has become...

I had waited nearly an hour for a track gang to clear the main and let train 101 continue south. Naturally, just as the dispatcher clears 101 to proceed at track speed, the sky opened, and not with sunshine. Here, just south of New Smyrna Beach, FL on 22 May 2018, in the driving rain with plenty of lightning, me and the camera soaked, I grabbed what I was waiting for, FEC 807 and 808 with their LNG tender. Just another day in paradise. (beats work anytime) d. Date: 07/21/18 12:05 Re: Darn the rain, Baldwin Fl. here I come ! Author: calsubd Weather always adds to a picture, sometimes good sometimes not !, at least something didn't come in between you and 101
