Deliveries, heat and Moses said he needed stone...
Author: Forever-Railfan-45

Just now getting caught up with some photos taken since late June. First two pictures we have CSX W991 heading east up the "hill" in Akron, Ohio with five brand new SEPTA units; this was on June 20, 2018. Third picture is of some Wheeling and Lake Erie power heading west into the yard lite in Brewster, Ohio; June 21, 2018...

Pictures numbers three and four are of the NS 12V on Juney 27, 2018 heading east under the PRR signals which as of today (August 05) have the new signals stading. If you look down the track you can see the other PRR signal at WANDLE (Wheeling and Lake Erie diamond) where the new signals are already up. Picture number six if of the NS 68D (loaded stone for Twinsburg, Ohio) starting her uphill journey to get into Chrysler Yard where Lafarge Corporation is; Lafarge is where the stone goes. The 68D was taken on August 04, 2018...

Pictures seven thru nine are of the 68D again. Chysler Yard used to be a CR as they served the huge Chrysler Stamping plant that was once here; it is very impressive to hear the ACes climbing Crown Hill. Dispatche has asked them if they would need helpers and the crew responded "no we will not" as we have two ACes. First time I have seen loaded stone trains here not use helpers. Seems like they make a lot of tablets here that Moses probably once used as there is stone dust everywhere. Have a great upcoming week everyone.
