Burned day of vacation and decided to venture out to north of Alliance, Ohio. While driving to get to my spot (private drive with permission) I noticed a lot of fire and police down by the Burger Hut on State Street; also heard on the scanner that the dispatcher had stopped all train traffic. Turns out that the driver of the vehicle had a seizure while driving and hit one of the covered hoppers towards the end of train 11K. The hopper was not leaking but the bars that open the hatch covers were pretty bent..Picture number two is of the 14N getting track authority of the Cleveland Single Line (known as the Bayard connection), picture number three is of the NS 24M with the NS 1069 leading...

Third picture is of the 24M where I was a tad slow on the shutter button. Picture number five is of 65E and picture number six is of the 415 (empty coke train) going back to Mingo Junction, Ohio to reload...

Glad I could help you with updates. Your photos came out excellent!!! I love the VGN & IT photos. And thanks about the symbol of 14N. I kept thinking 14A or K. But overall, a fantastic day. And the Glowworm was my first time for leading. Fantastic photos.

As to the accident, that seems confusing to me. I hope the driver and train crew were ok.

Great shots! What time did you catch 65E and 24M? I heard 65E yesterday morning on the scanner leaving Harrisburg, PA.

Thank you in advance.

I like your shots of the Illinois Terminal unit.

In my experience, that color scheme is extremely sensitive to the lighting around it.
