In LaGrange, KY there is insufficient room to avoid the train when cars are parked on the curb (most of the time). Motorists not acquainted come to a screeching halt and back up quickly....... If it was an opposing shot the word would be stronger than oops! There is a line painted on both sides of the track for most of the street running segment to let people know that they are within striking distance of the train. Love that South Shore orange; reminds me of childhood trips in summertime 1960s on the old style Cars, rumbling between CHI and South Bend.
