2017 Western Road Trip- Carolina Coastal

Continuing with photos from my 2017 road trip.          

On October 23, 2017 I photographed the Carolina Coastal Railroad.  Here are the photos.

The engine power is nicely painted and clean!   But the color combination of light blue & muted red is NOT my taste in a color scheme.  It looks like a four year old chose the colors.

I also find the colors garish, and I wonder how the red will hold up under southern UV radiation. The colors do attract attention, however. AC&W has a much more attractive color scheme dominated by dark green, but it blends in with trees from a distance.
