Yesterday NS started cutting in the new signals on the former PRR thru Canton, Ohio. Was going thru some files and came across a few scenes that will not be repeated. First one is of the Wheeling and Lake Erie 272 interchanging with the NS at Canton Yard. This was from this past May and then we have the NS OCS from this past June. Glad I got up early this day as seeing the NS OCS under PRR signals will not happent again here. Number three is of a wandering railfan in Brewster, Ohio (west end of the yard) from a few weeks ago. Belonged to an Amish farm and from what they said she likes to wander from tiime to time...

Fourth picture is of the NS 66X on November 10, 2018 passing the PRR signals at PC 126.5 just west of Orrville, Ohio. Number five is of an iconic Ohio farm scene; they were harvesting the corn just across the road from the 66X. Number six is of the 66R November 11, 2018. Canton Yard can be seen in the background...

Number seven is again the 66R and number eight is of the helper set on the 66R; GP38-2 and the NS 8025.  They ended up yarding the helpers and cabbed the crew to Mansfield, Ohio. For those of you that want to get the PRR signals around here they now are at PC 126.5 and they are at the following mile posts on the Fort Wayne Line going west to east: East Colsan, North Robinson, East Crest, PC 183, PC 178, CP West Mans, Mans, PC 172, Lucas, PC 167, 159, Mohican, PC 154, 140, Big Run, PC 134, 132, 129, 126 and CP Orr. #2 should be Image of the Day...great photos.  Did the Trainmaster in Photo #3 object to his picture being taken???

Said something about not having enough crews with the holidays coming up ;) Wife was actually with me and she even said by far "the strangest day yet" going with out with me.
