CSX delivered three cars from ITM to the Kentucky Steam Heritage
Author: Defective_Detector

This morning CSX delivered the three cars for the new Kentucky Steam Heritage Corp.'s facilities in Ravenna, KY. The cars had been landlocked at the Indiana Transportation Museum since the early 00's and had to be trucked from Noblesville to Anderson, IN where the KSHC's crews could make them road worthy.

The EK sub saw it's first train movment in months with today's move and from the sound of the conductor onboard the train, CSX seems ready to help get this project on it's feet.

Good to see items making it away from the mess that unfolded up in Noblesville...

How much of the EK Sub is dormant these days?

From Typo north to Patio, so practically the entire sub. There's maybe 200 grain cars in storage in Ravenna that have been there since at least April.

Coal traffic goes out the other end through the Deane connection then on to the CSX Big Sandy Sub. Not much of that.
