Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Over NS Diamond Question

Aside from the Norfolk Southern diamond at Bremen Georgia where two NS divisions (Alabama & Georgia) cross, are there any other diamonds on the NS system where either two different divisions cross and/or two different NS districts within a single division cross via a DIAMOND? 

Diagram below indicates the Bremen diamond where the Georgia Div “C-Line” district crosses over the Alabama Div East End District. Control is by the East End dispatcher desk.

Fort Wayne, Indiana - 'NE' where the former Wabash crosses the Nickel Plate and 'Hugo' where the former Wabash crosses the former PRR

Riverton Junction, VA where the former Southern B Line from Manassas to Strasburg crosses the former N&W from Roanoke to Hagerstown.
Ashtabula, OH where the former NKP Cleveland to Buffalo line crosses the Youngstown Line to the docks.
Sandusky, OH where the former NYC Chicago Line crosses the former PRR line from Bellevue to the docks.
Barber, NC where two former Southern lines cross, the S Line from Salisbury to Asheville and the L Line from Winston-Salem to Mooresville.

On the last one, aren't both lines part of the Piedmont Division?  I believe the original poster asked if NS had any locations where diamonds were lines of two different divisions.

On your first one, I believe that would qualify, as the "B" Line (Manassas-Strasburg, VA) is Piedmont Division and the Shenandoah Valley Line is, what, Virginia Division?  I haven't kept up with my knowledge of NS divisions, so I hope others can help out.

Boylan St. In Raleigh, NC.  The original NS crosses the ex SAL and Southern.  Southern running on a 99 year lease of the North Carolina RR.  Don't know about different divisions though.  Crossing is 40 degrees.

In Roanoke, Virginia, the former Virginian Railway crosses at grade the former N&W Winston-Salem line at JK.  Both on the now Pocahontas Division, former Virginia Division.

Pocahontas Division now at Riverton Junction for the former N&W North-South line.  The Virginia and Pocahontas Divisions ere combined, maybe two years ago, with division headquarters in the former Virginia Division building in Roanoke.

Riverton Jct is now in Hagerstown District of Harrisburg Div. Hagerstown Dispatcher has H Line North of Shenandoah Yard
all of B Line and old Southern Main north of Monroe (Ithink).

Yes, you are right.  Harrisburg Division now includes former N&W north of Shenandoah and former Southern north of Monroe (which is north of Lynchburg) and "B" line from Manassas through Riverton Junction to Edinburg.

All my entries are in the Lake Division.

Bannon in Columbus OH. Colubis District, former N & W, crosses the former Conrail West Virginia Branch.
Scioto Tower in Columbus OH. The Dayton District, formerly Conrail Cincinnati Line crosses the former Conrail Western Branch, plus they both cross the CSX Northern Sub.
Marion Indiana Red Key District crosses the Marion District. Both are former Conrail lines.
Alexandria Indiana Marion District crosses the Frankfort District.
