An interesting evening, for sure.  Anybody know what the difference might be between the Herzog white hoppers vs the oxide red?
Seems 86' flat cars are mighty handy for loading multiple pieces of MofW equipment.

My guess just the color of the second hand coal cars that were available at the time to convert to GPS ballast cars.
