Thanks to a fantastic freind who works for the GR for letting me know HZRX Horizon Rail GP40-2 #6452 & HZRX road slug #2209 would be working Grand River Railroad today on their way to Painesville Yard to do some switching.

Ok, the photos from yesterday of the Grand River Railroad that I already shared with the photos like below, if certain people are getting the wrong impression of me taking photos with a train head on the track, it is totally false. The gentleman who works for this railroad is a very very good freind of mine and turned on the headlights of HZRX GP40-2 #6452 and had the engines parked and not moving. All he did was turn on the head lights. He allowed me permission to get photos like the ones below. So there was no harm to me in doing these photos. I have never ever done any Railroad Trespassing or anything related to getting hurt on the railroad. So please I hope people understand this was a staged photo op for me to get those photos track level with the headlights on. I was not at all trying to give the impression of crossing in front of a moving train. The train was not moving!!

Interesting.  These are ex-CSXT: GP40-2 #6452, ex-#6336, exx-B&O #4438; and slug #2209, ex-B&O GP35 #3516.  Gerry

This is by far the best set of railfan photos you have taken. Study these and make these your benchmark.
