Raritan Center in Edison, NJ
Author: PennRailVideos

1/15/19 - A friend of mine was visiting the area and wanted to shoot the ops in/around the Raritan Center, so I played tour guide for a little before work. Much to our luck, Conrail's Metuchen Local ME-2 was working HATCO down along Riverside Drive near Woodbridge, NJ. This is not actually in the Raritan Center, and this is as far east as anything runs on this line. This was once a spur off of the Lehigh Valley's Perth Amboy Branch.

The ME-2 heads west back to Metuchen, as it passed through a parking lot just before Fieldcrest Ave inside the Raritan Center. This apparently was a connection track between the LV and the Pennsy.

Raritan Central's "RC-2" job by Sweetwater Ave way in the back of the Raritan Center.
