Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS Monongahela Heritage unitDate: 02/04/19 13:34 NS Monongahela Heritage unit Author: biff I saw NS 8025, the Monongahela heritage unit leading the 310 train through Attica NY yesterday. What is different from the last time I saw the unit is that some gremlins have altered the origional appearence by adding a "CR" patch on the nose of the unit.

Not the first Heritage engine to suffer this, here is the READING engine back on 7/8/2018, on the NS "H" line at Antietam Station, MD. I was led to believe this was an employee joke, refering to the condition of this engine, with its peeling paint and burned body panels. |
