4 hours trackside in Rootstown Ohio - Monday February 4th, 2019

Well, since today was a very nice warm day and actually reached 60 degrees for a short bit, I decided to drive south to Rootstown Ohio. Yes, Rootstown, finally again!!! after a laul of tad over 5 month's of not going there do to not having time, work, health, etc. So the last time before today was Saturday Sept 1st, 2018. Anyway, I arrived trackside at 1:30PM and stayed till 5:30PM. So in the 4 hours trackside is was a little dissapointing as there were only 5 trains. But hey, it's the beginning of the work week and I kind of expected it. It was actually nice to see Dash 9's instead of always seeing GEVO's most of the time on NS for me.

Train 1: NS westbound freight 11K lead by NS Dash 9 #9961 & UP AC4400CW #6030.

Train 2: NS eastbound ethanol 64R lead by 3 NS Dash 9's #9294, #9838 & #9020.

Train 4: NS eastbound freight either 16G, 34N or 14K lead by NS ES44AC #8160, NS Dash 9 #9204 & EMD NS SD60I #6758. Better get those 60I's, as I heard last week, that during this year most or all will eventually be put into storage. 

As to the 6758 photo, I had a freind of mine ad effect to the photo to make it look a lot better as my original was to bright.

Last Train 5: NS eastbound intermodal 24M lead by another 2 NS Dash 9's #9237 & #9938.

Plus 2 bonus photos of the New Milford Road Railroad Crossing before the light was really lost, due to clouds and rain.
