Today's work journey took me along CSX's line from Nashville to Memphis. I saw a westbound mix of auto racks and double stacks with a handful of Tropicana reefers. Any one what train this was? Don't recall seeing Tropicana cars on this route before. Power was 459 and 311 both CSX.

Tropicana sold a bunch of Orange reefers, so to answer your Question more info is needed, were the cars White or Orange ?, did you get the reporting marks ?,  Color isn't 100 % determining factor .Is there a detour in the area  ?

Q154 and Q155 run this route daily with Tropicana

They where white ones.

All CSX - UP intermodal and Tropicana interchange that was previously routed via New Orleans was changed to the Memphis gateway last year.

Tropicana headed for Cincinnati. They routed this traffic off th e CC sub and it takes the long way to C incy. But Memphis??

Tropicana traffic has three destinations: New Jersey, Cincinnati, and City of Industry, CA.  The California bound cars are the ones that run through Memphis.
