Matching Trio Of SD40-2's On The Local Shortlines

This Wednesday I actually shot a few local trains. The first being the Ohio Central's Newark to Watkins turn with a matching trio of Maroon SD40's near Pataskala. The leader being an Ex UP Snoot nose #4029 followed by #4023 and the only remaining OHCR SD40T-2 #4027. I then headed down to Pleasantville to see the outlawed KN381 with a trio of KNWA SD40-2's

Nice....Really like the Panhandle shots.....Such a far cry from back before Conrail.

The KNWA units look like original SD45 bodies to me; are they de-rated or refurbished to SD40-2 spec's?
