NS 6K4 on the Reading Line 3/23
Author: OCtrainguy

I am still playing catch up with photos from a trip to Macungie, PA on the NS Reading Line from March 23rd.  Aside from the 10N with the Conrail heritage unit, the other real highlight road train, to me, was the ethanol train 6K4.  The train featured a pair of SD80MACs.  And a consecutively numbered SD80MACs, 7216 and 7215.  In my trips to the Altoona area, I've seen engine moves and coal trains with multiple SD80MACs on them, but in my neck of the woods, I've only seen single engines mixed in with other power.  And I really like these engines, especially when they were in their Conrail Quality paint scheme.  Anyway, onto the photos and I have a video to share as well.

1 & 2 - approaching the Route 100 grade crossing
3 - going away photo of the lead engine

One more photo and a video to share to follow.
